ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION–

Pre-Primary Assessment:
Our Pre-Primary assessment is continuous and all inclusive. All attributes and activities are recorded and discussed with parents regularly for the growth and enhancement of children. Suggestions, feedback, tips to the parents, active involvement of the parents are all included for the benefit of students.

Primary Assessment:
Our primary assessment for classes I to V is a combination of Pre-Primary assessment and Middle school assessment. It is developed gradually so that children do not feel the stress of formal examinations but are prepared to take the formal assessment when they reach class VI.

SCHOLASTIC AREAS: FOR CLASS VI-VIII

NOTE:

Notebook Submission (5 marks):- It includes weekly assignments , regularity , neatness and upkeep of notebooks.

Subject Enrichment (5 marks):- For languages, activities in languages should aim at equipping the learner to develop effective speaking and listening skills.
Subject teacher must ensure that notebook (5 marks) and subject enrichment activity (5 marks) should be done twice in an academic session that is Once before half yearly and the other before final examination.
Co-Scholastic assessment should be completed 15 days before half yearly and final examination.

LANGUAGES: For developing effective listening & speaking skills teachers develop their own methods and parameters for assessment. But they are aligned with the CBSE ASL.

MATHEMATICS: Activities as per NCERT Syllabus & NCERT Text Books

SCIENCE: Practical work & activities are done in alignment with NCERT syllabus & NCERT text books.

SOCIAL SCIENCE: Map & project work and other activities are aligned with the NCERT syllabus & NCERT text books.

GRADING SCALE FOR SCHOLASTIC AREAS:

Co-Scholastic Activities are:
Work Education: Skill based Activities resulting in goods or services useful to the community.
Art Education: Visual & Performing Arts
Health and Physical Education: Sports/ Martial Arts/ Yoga / Games
Discipline: To be Assessed on Factors of Attendance Sincerity, Behavior, Values, Tiding & Respectfulness towards Rules & Regulations, Attitudes towards Society, Nation & Others.

Grading for Co-Scholastic Areas:
Aimed at Holistic Development of Students
Co-Scholastic Activities will be assessed on a 3 point grading scale
Regularity, Sincere Participation, Output & Team Work to be the generic Criteria for Assessment.
GRADING on 3 Point Scale

    REMARKS GRADE
    Fair C
    Very Good B
    Outstanding A
